..the one that got settled last night cashing out at £72,000 on a £50 bet at the start of the season - easy to say what you would have done- but what exactly would you have done?
I find it strange that right now the bet got cashed out- they are arguably stronger than ever and there's still a long way to go - remember the win was worth £250,000...
Surely it would have made more sense to lay the bet and hold on?

Heard if he'd have waited until the end of the weekend he'd gave got 91k.
For me, 72k is far too much to turn doen. Guess its personal circumstances really. What would be more gutting..."losing" 72k or leic winning the league and not getting 250k.
I'd have cashed out as that is far too much of a gamble for me

The person made £72k from a £50 outlay. That might have paid off his mortgage. Paid his kids through uni. Allowed him to retire a few years early. Life changing amount, good luck to him. Would probably have done the same.

Thing is they have a five point gap right now which is a two game buffer. It's got to be worth holding on at the moment surely.

If they lose and everyone wins the next game that 72k comes down loads.
Personal circumstances - all very well saying you'd do this and that, it's a bit a different when it's real money and one bad decision / freak goal affects your payout value by 15-20k.

Completely depends on your situation in life and how well off you are.
That 72k might mean that bloke doesn't have a mortgage anymore, which is obviously massive and life changing.
I think Leicester will win the league at the moment, but then again Mahrez and Vardy could both get injured next week.
Either way it's not a bad return on £50.

I would have taken the money.
For a bullseye the return of 72k is well worth it.
And unless you are earning a pretty penny in your current job I'd say most would take it.
Too many permutations between now and the end of the season for it too fuck up.
With two or three games to go then I'd maybe just maybe have been inclined to hold.
If you were able to lay this bet then I'd suggest you wouldn't be in need of the money anyway so could let it run.
